This week, we're welcoming Julia Källmark to the Zooma team - she's joining us as a marketing automation intern.
Julia is currently a student, and studies the 2-year Marketing Automation Specialist course at YrkesAkademin here in Gothenburg. She’ll be joining us for her internship until the end of May.
Julia is originally from the town of Varberg on Sweden’s west coast, and moved to Gothenburg in 2020.
In 2016, she moved to Oslo, where she started working as a Visual Merchandiser. In this role, it was important to always see things from the customers’ perspective and develop a deep understanding of their needs – skills which are vital in the world of marketing.
In 2019 she returned to Sweden and began studying event management, a course which contained a module on marketing. Her interest in marketing grew, and she started the marketing automation course she currently studies last year.
Like the rest of the Zoomers, Julia is currently working from home. Starting a new job is always challenging, but doing it while not physically being at the workplace is even harder. However, this isn’t new for her – the course at YrkesAkademin has been entirely digital since it began in September 2020.
“I don’t mind studying from home – we usually have seminars two or three times a week, and teachers send out videos and reading material as well. The rest of the time I can work independently and take things on my own schedule,” she says.
During her time at Zooma, wants to expand her knowledge on CRM systems, learn more about using HubSpot, and get hands-on experience of customer journeys and how to shape them.
Welcome to the team Julia, it’s great to have you here!
