We got an interesting question from a customer a couple of days ago. He asked Stellan and me, while sipping a cup of java, whether we thought that apps would be "the thing" for their brand and a lasting platform for years to come?
We answered that everything that is "use case based efficiency makers" is "the thing" – for now and forever. If the "use case based efficiency makers" will be called apps or something else in the future is really irrelevant.
People have become spoiled by apps that really make life and everyday situations easier to handle. Therefore the expectations on everything provided forward, whether it’s apps or something else entirely, is much greater. People now decide instantly if any given solution makes sense for them and if it provides efficiency from any perspective.
