We’ve been fans of Mary Meeker – the undisputed queen of online and technology trend spotting – for years here at Zooma. As per usual, her latest presentation from the All Things D Conference is packed with thoughtful observations and insights. Just to mention a few statistical nuggets from the presentation; 29% of Americans now owns tablets/eReaders compared to only 2% less than three years ago and global mobile traffic now represent 10% of total online traffic compared to just 1% three years ago.

The presentation echoes a lot of our own thinking here at Zooma insomuch that we are living through a period in time where we are witnessing an unprecedented level of global technological innovation. The resulting combination of new devices, ubiquitous connectivity and evolved user interfaces is driving the re-imagination of almost everything we do.
